Aeons ago, a quantum rift cleaved the Firmament Eternal into twelve distinct rungs. Within these rungs, separated from the cleansing source, negative energy masses were left to fester until they congealed into the Twelve Illusions. When humanity sprung from the sediment and fungus clumps, this expulsion of birth energy shattered the barriers between rung realms. The Illusions, now free, voracious, and wrathful, pierced the Gungus (human spirit). This is how Gungus came to know the twelve fatal faults: greed, dishonesty, bloodlust, depression, anxiety, prejudice, bloating, pride, exuberance, fear, protuberance, and feces.
However, in accordance with the balance of the universe, a great light also entered the Firmament Eternal’s wound during the quantal rift.
